Presidents and Secretaries General of the Association’s Local Chapters comprise the Executive Committee of the HPTLC Association and elect their Chairperson on an annual basis. The Chairperson of the Executive Committee is a full member of the Board and shall represent the common interests of the Local Chapters in accordance with §4, 5 "Articles of Incorporation" and §3 "Bylaws".

On May 25, 2022, the members of the Executive Committee have appointed Mr. Akshay Charegaonkar, President of the India Chapter as their Chairman. Mr. Charegaonkar pointed out: "As Chair, I intend to conduct more international online events of the Association. We will also aim to increase the membership of our Association through promotions on relevant social media like LinkedIn. I will work as a respectful member of the Executive Committee to take our Association forward."
