Sample preparation | Weigh 1.0 g of the powdered sample and put into a 50-mL centrifugal tube, then add 10 mL of diethyl ether. Close the cap of the tube, shake occasionally for 1 h and centrifuge at about 1200 x g for 10 min. Transfer the supernatant to a new tube and evaporate to dryness on a warm water bath maintained at a temperature below 50 ?C. Dissolve the residue in 0.5 mL of methanol |
