Sample preparation | Weigh 5.0 g of A. galanga dried rhizomes powder of 0.106 mm size in a 250 mL screw-capped conical flask and add 100 mL of absolute ethanol. Extract the mixture at a temperature of 60°C for 30 min and filter. Evaporate the solvent to dryness using a rotary evaporator at 40°C. Reconstitute the extract with 10 mL of methanol, sonicate for 15 min, centrifuge at 1800 rpm for 10 min. Filter the supernatant and use the filtrate as test solution |
